Yugen Marketing Management Josh Yugen also expressed how proud he was of the actress, who he considers as his “younger sister.”

” I have worked hard to erase the stereotypes and have fought racism as much as I can —that Filipinos can also be owners of companies, can also be a world renowned designer, or can also be an internationally acclaimed model and can also be a global achiever,” he wrote. “[A]nd now I feel like because of you, you have showed everyone that —DREAMS DO REALLY COME TRUE!”

Words are never enough to explain how I am proud of you @maymay 😭, no. 1 because I always feel that you are the younger sister that I have always been praying for 🙏, and also because as a Filipino living abroad for more than 10 years, I have worked hard to erase the stereotypes and have fought racism as much as I can- that Filipinos can also be owners of companies, can also be a world renowned designer, or can also be an internationally acclaimed model and can also be a global achiever – and now I feel like because of you, you have showed everyone that – DREAMS DO REALLY COME TRUE – if you work hard for it and you keep your faith in God 🙏 For me, just to be invited for Dubai casting by an international fashion icon @furneamato who have dressed A-list superstars such as Beyonce, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Shakira, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez, Bebe Rexha and supermodels such as Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum is already a big honor and we will always be super proud of you! 💙 Nevertheless, on November 21, 2018 at Dubai Design District at 7 pm, the entire Philippines and all the Filipinos around the world will be more proud of you as HISTORY will unfold right before our eyes as you become the very first Filipina celebrity to walk for #ArabFashionWeek for @furneamato CONGRATULATIONS FROM YOUR YUGEN FAMILY!!! @yugenpr PS.
