Pia Wurtzbach is not one to back down from a challenge, whether it’s winning a beauty pageant or pursuing a career in acting.
The Miss Universe 2015 winner showed off on Instagram Monday, Nov. 12, a new skill she had learned: juggling a volleyball with her forearms.
“First time to do volleyball drills and this was fun, @alyssa_valdez2 (Alyssa Valdez)! Can I join your team?” she said to volleyball superstar Alyssa Valdez.
Valdez was all praises for the beauty queen: “Parang pro volleyball player naman (Just like a pro volleyball player)! Welcome to the team Queen P!”
Wurtzbach modestly replied, “Hahaha you’re too kind!”

National women’s volleyball team player Kianna Dy agreed with Valdez. “Pwede pwede (You would do)!”
Wurtzbach seemed to be in disbelief at the compliment. “Ayan na ang mga tunay na players. Sorry na po (Here are the true players. So sorry)! ”

Meanwhile, another celebrity volleyball player, Gretchen Ho, found amusement in the video, commenting only in laughter and a fist bump emoji, to which Wurtzbach replied with the monkey emoji covering its eyes to indicate embarrassment.

Queen P has been trying different workouts to keep her fit figure based on her social media posts including trap bar deadlifts and silk suspension. She earlier dipped her toes into mixed martial arts to prepare for her movie comeback “Gandarrapiddo! The Revenger Squad” last year. She has also expressed interest in joining a marathon next year as part of her fitness journey. /ra
