Vice Ganda denies love for Calvin Abueva gets zapped

Speculations of Vice Ganda and Calvin Abueva dating have been circulating on social media, but the comedian has repeatedly denied this in many of his interviews.
During Maja Salvador and Zanjoe Marudo’s guesting in “Gandang Gabi Vice” on Sunday, the comedian’s rumored relationship with the basketball player was brought up again.
Salvador asked Vice Ganda if he’s in love with Abueva using a toy lie detector that will zap a person caught lying.
“Hindi,” Vice Ganda stood his ground.
To his surprise, the comedian got zapped and was asked by Salvador once again if he’s in love with Abueva.
“You don’t trust things, you trust feelings,” Vice Ganda replied.
Vice Ganda clarified he’s not dating the Phoenix basketball player in a recent interview at “Tonight With Boy Abunda.”
Nonetheless, the comedian expressed how he values his friendship with Abueva: “Sobra ko po siyang naa-appreciate kasi sa dinami-dami ng naging kaibigan ko na basketball players, iilan lang doon ang naging proud na, ‘Malapit na malapit talaga ako kay Vice.’” /cbb
