“Total entertainer” Rico J. Puno was laid to rest at the Heritage Park in Taguig City on Thursday.
His remains were brought to the Makati City Hall before the interment interment rites at 1:00 p.m.
In a Facebook post, his son Rox bids him goodbye, calling him his “best friend” and “superhero.”
The OPM legend died of heart failure last October 30 at the age of 65.
Among his hit songs in his 40 years in the music industry were “Kapalaran,” “Buhat,” “Macho Gwapito,” “Lupa,” “Damdamin,” and “May Bukas Pa.” /ee
