Saab Magalona on coping with loss of baby Luna: ‘It’s going to be a long process’

During the All Souls’ Day weekend, Saab Magalona commemorated the passing of her baby Luna.
The Cheats singer revealed yesterday, Nov. 3, on Instagram that she began cleaning out the nursery meant for twins Luna and Pancho.
She shared a picture of the sunlit nursery with white curtains and an assortment of things scattered around, including an exercise ball, an ironing board and formula bottles.

“Over the holidays, I honored our late baby girl by finally entering the twins’ unfinished nursery and filling up boxes with clothes, toys, and supplies for donation,” she wrote. “I still cannot let go of her car seat, crib, and the twin stroller. It’s going to be a long process. #ihadastillbirth”
Article continues after this advertisementMagalona gave birth to the twins last February, but sadly, only Pancho survived after being in critical condition.
Article continues after this advertisementShe and husband Jim Bacarro brought Pancho this morning to visit Luna’s grave and that of her dad, the late rapper and composer Francis M. at Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina City. Joining them were Bacarro’s parents and sister.

Last May, Magalona and Bacarro launched the Luna Isabel Magalona-Bacarro Memorial Fund with Kythe Foundation’s Child Life Program. The Quirino Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City has a playroom named after Luna and the fund supports resources to provide kids in the pediatric ward with playtime. JB
