Since Ariana Grande declared she is a fan of Halloween, she tagged James Corden along to go with her through an “escape room.”
The pop star and talk show host had a lot to freak out about while they encountered scary monsters, as seen in a clip of “The Late Late Show” posted on YouTube Tuesday, Oct. 30.
Grande told Corden that she loves being scared “because it’s so much fun.”
“I go to, like, haunted houses and stuff. Usually escape rooms aren’t that scary, but I do love escape rooms,” she said.
Both went through obstacles to figure out their way out. They were greeted by creatures, such as a long-haired monster who scared them by getting out of a crib. Grande, carried away, cursed at the creature as it exited, “You’re a b*tch!”
They both showed that teamwork is the key to getting out of the haunted quarters. But before they finally escaped, they got spooked again by a mysterious man in a mask who crawled towards them — which at one point made Grande trip.
Finally out of the nightmare, Corden asked Grande — who is then seen with a bandage on her left hand — if she was okay.
“I’ve been to 300 escape rooms,” she said. “That’s not an escape room. That’s one of the seven gates to hell.” JB
