Pokwang felt like her dream came true after she found out that her daughter Malia looked like Angelica Panganiban when the actress was an infant.
It turned out the comedienne had always wanted to have a baby as pretty as Panganiban. Seeing an old baby photo of the “Exes Baggage” star convinced her that baby Malia was Panganiban’s spitting image. Pokwang shared a side-by-side comparison of the two in an Oct. 11 Instagram post.
“Madalas kong sinasabi noon na balang araw magkakaroon ako ng baby na mala Angelica Panganiban, at eto na nga…. look 😃 si @iamangelicap pala at si @malia_obrian ay iisa lang ang hulmahan hahahaahaaa,” wrote Pokwang. “Sabi kona e kapit lang sa pangarap matutupad din diba nak Angge?”
(I used to say a lot, one day I’ll have a baby as pretty as Angelica Panganiban, and here she is….. look @iamangelicap and @malia_obrian are one and the same. Like I said, just keep holding on to your dream and it will come true, right my girl Angge?)

Pokwang’s followers agreed and began tagging Panganiban in hopes that she would also notice the resemblance.
Little Malia came into the world last January and is Pokwang’s third child, but her first with partner and American actor Lee O’Brian.
The little girl celebrated her eighth month last Sept. 18. Malia’s parents got her a cake to celebrate, which she happily and cutely “smashed” while wearing only her diapers. /ra
