“Mr. Pure Energy” Gary Valenciano is fully recharged and ready to step into the stage spotlight once again on Saturday, Oct. 13.
Gary V will be holding his first concert since his hospitalization. “Gary V: Mr. Pure Energy in XS” will take place at the Xavier Sports Center in Greenhills, San Juan. The show will have his daughter Kiana Valenciano as a special guest.
The concert will start at 8 p.m. and ticket prices range from P1,500 for silver to P5,000 for SVIP seats.

Gary V had to take a break from activities when he was hospitalized and underwent heart bypass surgery last May 6.
A couple of months later on July 17, Gary V climbed back up on stage to sing for the first time since his operation during a Panasonic-sponsored event at the New World Hotel.
At the time, wife Angeli Pangilinan noted how his outer wounds healed quickly. However, doctors still cautioned Gary V not to rush in getting back to performing. And yet, the consummate performer insisted on singing at least a couple of songs for the event attendees.
Meanwhile, Gary V has expressed his frustration over the slow internet in the Philippines, which many users wish had as much energy as the singer has, if not more. His tweet on Oct. 1 received over 5,300 likes as of this writing. /ra
