Injuries reported after Lil Wayne concert in Atlanta ends in chaos

At least 12 people were injured at a performance by Lil Wayne at the A3C Festival in Atlanta on Sunday, Oct. 7, as concertgoers fled from an apparent false shooting alarm raised by members of the crowd, according to police.

Atlanta Police Department officials told local media that they believed someone shouted that they heard gunshots, causing the crowd to attempt to flee. However, police said they were unable to find evidence that shots had been fired.

Festival organizers said an “altercation” ended the performance and they were working to determine what happened.
