Kris Aquino declared she is now “broken,” fearing she may lose “tens of tax paid millions” she saved up for her sons, Josh and Bimby.
“My PAIN comes from my fear that tens of tax paid millions from my sons’ trust funds,” the Queen of All Media said in a post on Instagram Tuesday, Sept. 25. “Money [I] conscientiously saved for them because [I] made a deathbed promise to my MOM that Kuya Josh & Bimb will always come first, baka mawala lahat ng pinagpaguran ko para sa kanila (all the money that I’ve worked hard for, for them, may soon be gone).”
Her post included a video of her looking tired and worried. She added that she has not posted a recent photo of herself the past six weeks because she is unable to “eat or sleep properly.” She also revealed that her sons may suffer the consequences after she has been targeted and deceived by someone “with no conscience.”
“[Y]ou told me that you admired my STRENGTH,” she told her fans. “[N]atakot akong baka mawala ang bilib nyo sa kin because i am now broken.” (I’m scared you may lose your faith in me because I am now broken.)
Nevertheless, she said her family advised her to have faith in the legal system. Aquino’s legal team includes lawyers Philip Sigfrid “Sig” Fortun and former solicitor general Florin Hilbay.
“The settlement or legal battle will now be in the hands of lawyers [I] RESPECT, auditing and accounting firms [I] TRUST, the word of honor of his deeply shamed mother & sister that all my investments shall be returned,” she said.
While Aquino may appear to be having financial issues now, she has been previously and consistently cited as one of the country’s top taxpayers. She also takes pride in having been financially independent from an early age. JB
