While David Licauco has always remained private about his personal life, eagle-eyed netizens were intrigued after a photo of him being labeled as a single guy resurfaced on social media.
Licauco’s relationship status caught the attention of netizens after he was photographed hanging out with Sparkle GMA Vice President Joy Marcelo and fellow actor Nikki Co last December.
The photo was then lifted by one AZU’s Official on Facebook on Wednesday, January 1.
“Mga single ngayong pasko (They are single this Christmas),” the post read, which seemingly came from Marcelo’s social media account. She then tagged Licauco and Co in the photo.

The actor-entrepreneur, however, has yet to address his relationship status, as of this writing.
Licauco has always been private about his personal life, strictly posting about his acting career and business ventures on his social media accounts. But in June 2024, he revealed that he was “taken” during a segment in a “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” interview, but he opted to keep the identity of his mystery girlfriend private.
The relationship status of the Kapuso star is making headlines after his onscreen partner Barbie Forteza confirmed that she had split from her longtime boyfriend Jak Roberto. The ex-couple were together for seven years before announcing their breakup last Wednesday, January 1.
Dubbed BarDa, Licauco and Forteza gained popularity as a love team after working together in “Maria Clara at Ibarra” from October 2022 to February 2023.
They were also paired up in the miniseries “Maging Sino Ka Man” and the historical drama “Pulang Araw,” as well as the romantic comedy film “That Kind of Love.”
