The trial of the plunder case against former senator and action star Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. ended last August. His talent manager, Lolit Solis, expressed her grief about the effect of Revilla’s detainment on his life.

“I hate Bong Revilla Salve,” Solis wrote in a post she shared via Instagram today, Sept. 20. “I hate his calmness, his acceptance, his passive and positive outlook sa mga naganap sa buhay niya (about the things that have happened in his life).”

“Revolting for me na four years hindi pa natapos ang issue ng [Priority Development Assistance Funds] PDAF pero nasira na ang pangalan at buhay ni Bong.” she lamented. “Now that most of the witness recanted, ano na ang mangyayari?”

(It is revolting for me that it has been four years and the PDAF issue has yet to be resolved, but Bong’s name and life had already been destroyed. Now that most of the witnesses recanted, what will happen?)

“Kung sakali mapatunayan na wala pala siyang kinalaman, what? Puwede pa ba ibalik four years?” Solis asked. She then launched a series of rhetorical questions: “Puwede pa linisin pangalan mo? Ano puwedeng ibayad sa iyo? How will you redeem yourself?”

(If it is proven he doe not have anything to do [with the case], what [now]? Can his four years [in detention] be returned? Is it possible to clear your name? What compensation can [they] give you? How will you redeem yourself?)

Solis then praised Revilla’s strength of character, noting she thought Revilla would be defeated by sadness.

“I hate you Bong, pero dahil birthday mo (but because it is your birthday), I wish you happiness in whatever situation you are right now,” Solid said, greeting Revilla whose birthday is on Sept. 25.

Revilla turned himself in to the anti-graft court Sandiganbayan in 2014 after he was charged with plunder in relation to his alleged involvement in the P10-billion pork barrel fund scam. Before he entered politics, he was known for his portrayal of Filipino superheroes “Panday” and “Captain Barbell”. JB
