LOOK: Camille Prats dresses up daughter Nala as Princess Sarah
If there is a beloved role Camille Prats played which her fans will always associate her with, it will no doubt be her role as Sarah Crewe in the film “Sarah… Ang Munting Prinsesa”.
In the spirit of her iconic performance, she dressed up her daughter Nala Camille as Princess Sarah for the baby girl’s pre-birthday photos. Nala will be turning one year old on Sept. 22.
“I have been secretly praying to have a little princess of my own. Almost a year ago today, God blessed us with the most amazing gift,” wrote Prats on a post she shared via Instagram last Sunday, Sept. 16. “The only heir to my make-believe throne, the new Princess Nala.”

Nala wore a light pink gown with gold accents — a recreation of her mother’s Sarah Crewe costume. She donned a gold and purple crown fit for a princess to complete her look. Adding to the pictorial’s princess theme, she was photographed alongside a throne and a make-shift carriage, holding what appears to be multi-colored macarons.

Thus, she dressed little Nala in a dark servant’s uniform paired with a white waist apron. To channel her former role even more, she made Nala wear a black wig with bangs.
“Pag nabalatan ko po ba lahat to makakain ko din po ang mga patatas? (If I can peel all of these, may I also eat these potatoes?),” Prats captioned the photos, recreating the iconic scene in the movie where Crewe was peeling potatoes.

To show how similar she and her daughter look like, Prats also uploaded side-by-side photos of herself and Nala as Crewe, along with a side-by-side photo of Nala in both her servant and princess costumes.
