Erik Santos shares how he applies Psychology degree learnings to his work

In showbiz, a celebrity holding a college degree is not a usual sight and among those rare breeds is singer/actor Erik Santos who was able to earn his degree in Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the Centro Escolar University.
In his Tuesday guesting on “Tonight With Boy Abunda,” he said he actually gets to apply the lessons of Psychology to his work in showbiz.
“Nagagamit ko naman po siya ngayon eh kasi syempre we meet a lot of people. Kapag sa personality ng mga tao di’ba we easily judge other people dahil sa nag-aral ako ng B.S. Psychology kailangan alamin mo ‘yung roots bakit siya ganun bakit ganun ‘yung ugali niya,” he said.
“Ako sa sarili ko hindi ko ‘to ma-ju-judge basta basta kasi kailangan ko malaman ano pinanggagalingan nung ugaling yun,” he said.
He initially took dentistry but shifted to Psychology when he came back after a break from school.
In past interviews, he also said his decision to finish school caused him to lose some projects.
He was also quoted as saying that if a celebrity wills to get hold of a college diploma, everything could be worked out. CLARIZEL G. ABANILLA
