Daniel Padilla could not help but laugh upon recalling his first kiss with Kathryn Bernardo, days after the actress shared how it went.
Previously, Bernardo recalled that their first kiss was “super quick” and it was behind her mother, Min. “Yun na yung first? Hindi ‘yun yung ini-imagine ko! (Is that the first? That’s not what I imagined!),” the actress gushed in a “Tonight with Boy Abunda” guesting aired Friday, Aug. 31.
But when it was Padilla’s turn to explain his side in a joint interview on Wednesday, Sept. 5, the actor chuckled and said, “Nerbyos!” (Nervous!)
Abunda then joked, “Bakit? Nandun si mommy?” (Why? Was mommy there?)
Abunda also teased Bernardo that during the kissing scenes on her and Padilla’s new movie “The Hows of Us”, he observed that she always had her mouth open. “Humihinga! (She’s breathing!),” Padilla said while laughing. “Di ko napapansin!” (I didn’t notice!)
As they discussed one confrontation scene in the movie, Padilla admitted, “Nangyari na ‘yun sa amin eh, yung ganung eksena. Bumabalik eh, habang nangyayari yung eksena, kumukurot kasi naaalala ko yung feeling,” he added.
(Those scenes already happened to us in real life. It comes back, while we shoot the scene, I feel uncomfortable because the feeling goes back.)
And do they set boundaries in their relationship? Both answered, “No.”
“Kapag nilagyan mo ng hangganan, hindi siya magwo-work. Dapat buong-buo ka eh (If you put boundaries, it will not work. You should give it your all),” Padilla explained.
Padilla and Bernardo finally went public about their relationship, which they said has been going strong for more than five years. As stated in a previous report, both already envision a future together, with them “seriously” talking about wedding plans. Katrina Hallare/JB
