Ogie Diaz is known for his disarming frankness. Recently, the comedian made use of this trademark frankness, and of course, humor, in answering questions online.

Diaz opened quite a can of worms in his Facebook post, titled “Mama Ogs Answers” last Tuesday, Aug. 28. With questions tackling various subjects, ranging from the unaired “Gandang Gabi, Vice!” (GGV) episode featuring Sarah Geronimo and James Reid, to who his closest celebrity friend is, Diaz went totally unfiltered.

The first question centered on the unnamed untalented actor Diaz was hinting at in his vlog, which fans assumed was Xian Lim. “Actually, inaaway ako ng ibang fans ni Xian,” answered Diaz. “Porke nasabi kong kahit sino, pwedeng gampanan ang role niya sa ‘Miss Granny.’ Pero hindi po siya ang tinutukoy ko, kaya ‘wag na nilang i-insist. Pag in-insist pa nila, eh baka nga siya.

(Actually, some of Lim’s fans started a quarrel with me, because I said anyone could do his role in ‘Miss Granny’. But I wasn’t talking about him, so his fans shouldn’t insist. If they continue insisting, then maybe it is him.)

Diaz praised Geronimo for her performance in “Miss Granny” when he was asked if the said film is good. Diaz noted that viewers will see a different version of Geronimo in the film.

He also shared what he knows about Geronimo and Reid’s supposedly unaired GGV episode. Geronimo’s mother, Divine, allegedly asked the talk show’s production team to cut the scenes where Geronimo answered Vice Ganda’s naughty questions, until the episode lost its substance that the team just decided not to air it. The singer supposedly revealed to Vice Ganda that she had watched anime porn and that she has experienced sleeping beside a man. But Diaz made it clear that what he knows is unverified and that he is also waiting for Geronimo, Reid, Vice Ganda and the GGV production team to make an official statement.

“Okay lang. Unti-unti ko na lang iniintindi kung saan nanggagaling ang mga pangangatwiran niya, dahil kung hindi, pahihirapan ko lang din ang sarili ko,” replied Diaz on the question about his take on Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson.

(It’s okay. Little by little I am [trying to] understand where her reasoning is coming from, because if not, I will only be emburdening myself.)

Diaz made it a point to give advice to Xander Ford who was apparently captured in a video crying because of the bullying he is receiving from his bashers; Ford reportedly said he wants to commit suicide. The comedian warned Ford not to proceed with his plan, saying,”Oy, Xander, ‘wag mong gagawin ‘yan, ha? Baka lalo kang i-dare ng mga bashers mo. Wag, anak. Masarap mabuhay. Basta behave ka na lang sa mga pautot mo para behaved din ang bashers.”

(Hey Xander, don’t do that, okay? Your bashers may dare you even more. Don’t, kid. It’s good to live. Just behave about all your nonsense so the bashers would behave too.)

Another question focused on what Diaz’s thoughts are on the nude photo/video scandal allegedly concerning singer Janno Gibbs. “Ay, malaki! I mean, malaki na si Janno para malaman niya ang consequence ng ginawa niya,” was Diaz’s teasing reply. “Pwede na rin niyang ibahin ang pangalan niya from Janno Gibbs to Janno Bigs.”

(It’s big! I mean, Gibbs is big enough to know the consequences of his actions. He can now change his name from Janno Gibbs to Janno Bigs.)

Diaz continued with his witty replies to questions such as “Mama Ogs, may gap po ba talaga sina (is there really a gap between) Vice Ganda at (and) Coco Martin?” and “Mama Ogs, eh kayo ni Vice, kumusta (how are you and Vice)?”

For the former, answered, “Ang alam ko, may Bench (From what I know, there is Bench).” For the latter, he said, “Okay naman kami ni Vice. Pero kami ni mayor, hindi (Vice and I are okay. But mayor and I are not).”

Diaz revealed that Aiko Melendez is his closest celebrity friend. “Nakita ko na kasi ang keps niyan habang umiihi sa harap ko, eh [laughs] (Because I already saw her vagina while she was peeing in front of me),” he reasoned.

When he was asked if he still has bashers, Diaz said that indeed he still has, adding, “We can’t please everybody. Sila na lang ang paghugutan mo ng lakas para manghina sila (You should draw strength from them so they’ll get weak).” JB
