Alden Richards and fellow “Eat Bulaga” dabarkad Baeby Baste have a special bond, and are willing to do everything for each other.

As Baste turned 6 years old, his buddy Richards made sure he did not miss his special day. He even flew to General Santos City, Baste’s hometown, just to be with him.

Baste shared dinner with his best friend and kuya Alden, as seen on the child sensation’s Instagram on Wednesday. By the looks of it, Richards felt right at home being with the 6-year-old as he shared laughs and bonded with Baste’s family.

The afternoon show dabarkad also had the time of his life turning a year older with a beach-themed party held at the Watergran Resort. Baste looked very energetic as party host, at the same time playing with guests from the St. Agnes Orphanage for party games.

Treats were given too to party guests, such as personalized stickers, toiletries and candies.

A birthday party is not without a cake. Baste had a customized sailor-themed cake that had a giant B at the center.

And Baste’s day was made even more special as friends and family gathered to shower him with love and appreciation.

Happy birthday, Baeby Baste! /ra
