Kim Chiu moves on from ‘Miss Granny’ screening incident, tells fans to do the same
Kim Chiu asked fans to move on from the incident that happened during the “Miss Granny” premiere screening, during which she was asked to transfer seats.
The actress tweeted on Aug. 22 to confirm what happened that night, but also asked fans to move on since everything was settled peacefully. Chiu also admitted she and her companions were in the wrong so they voluntarily transferred seats.
Footage from the “Miss Granny” premiere night in Trinoma Cinema, uploaded on the YouTube channel StarsPhotog Vidz, began circulating on Aug. 20. It showed a woman approach Chiu and her companions while seated inside the cinema. The woman explained to Chiu that she and her companions had mistakenly taken the wrong seat, and asked if they could transfer since all tickets were matched with numbered seats.
The footage did not show Chiu transferring seats but it appeared the conversation with the woman was uneventful. Although confused, it also appeared Chiu and her companions realized their mistake as they listened to the woman’s explanation.
