Kristen Bell-led TV series ’Veronica Mars” may be revived by Hulu.
The streaming service appears to have been quietly working on the revival with Warner Bros. in the past few months, reports Entertainment Weekly.
While the deal has yet to be finalized, Kristen Bell and the mystery series’ original creator, Rob Thomas, appear to be on board. As for the number of episodes for the new season, Deadline and Variety report eight to 10 will be made in limited production.
In late 2017, Belle assured fans of the show that “Veronica Mars” would happen. At the time, she cited her involvement with ongoing comedy series “The Good Place” as one of the reasons why she couldn’t fully commit to a “Mars” show.
“Veronica Mars” premiered on televisions on Sept. 22, 2004, for a 22-episode season. Kristen Belle starred as the titular character who worked as a part-time private investigator while also attending high school.
