“Noon, sinabi ko sa’yo, we will never get married,” Jericho Aguas told Jaycee Parker. “And okay lang sa’yo kasi naiintindihan mo.”
(I told you before we will never get married. And you said that it was okay because you understand.)
These were some of the words the Angeles, Pampanga councilor said during his wedding with the former Viva Hot Babe, celebrated in a lavish ceremony last Sunday, Aug. 19. The wedding was captured in a video by NicePrint Photography, uploaded in the company’s YouTube channel on Aug. 20.
Aguas, in a dashing blue tuxedo, was telling his blushing bride about his previous heartache: “Takot na ako, hindi na ako naniniwala sa kasal.” (I was scared, I didn’t believe in marriage anymore.)
“You gave me the reason to marry again,” he later added.
In turn, the bride told her groom, “You were the biggest blessing sent from above. As I enter the sacred union with you, mahal (my love), I am so grateful we found each other.”
Aside from their vows of love, scenes from that day included a sexy dance number by the groom and his best men, clips from their prenup shot and captured moments before the ceremony.
One of the special people involved in the celebration was Aguas’ son Hubert with ex-wife, late actress Isabel Granada. He could be seen fooling around with his dad in their dance number, as well as receiving a present from Aguas and Parker.
The event was star-studded. The guest list included former Ilocos Sur governor Luis “Chavit” Singson, as well as Parker’s fellow Viva Hot Babes members Maui Taylor, Katya Santos and Sheree, among others.
Aguas was married to Granada in 2002 but they eventually separated. The late “That’s Entertainment” star married Arnel Cowley in 2015. She died in November 2017 due to brain aneurysm. JB
