Ardy Roberto recounts day he, Miriam Quiambao discovered they’re pregnant
Christian author and soon-to-be daddy Eduardo “Ardy” Roberto Jr. shared the story of how he and wife Miriam Quiambao discovered they are pregnant with their first child.
“Yes, we’re pregnant,” wrote Roberto in a post he shared via Instagram yesterday, Aug. 19. “Not just pregnant with hope. But pregnant for real. And naturally conceived.”

Ardy Roberto recounted the struggles he and Quiambao faced when they were trying to conceive. He said that they have been trying to get pregnant since their wedding in 2014. The couple, apparently, had tried in-vitro fertilization (IVF) two years ago. However, it was not successful.
“In her heart, she was still praying for a natural pregnancy,” stated Roberto. “Holding on to God’s promise to her years ago when she was single and contemplating to freeze her eggs on the eve of her 36th birthday.”

During the morning when Miriam was supposed to start taking her IVF preparation medicines, Roberto asked her to take a pregnancy test just to be sure that they haven’t conceived.
“She came out of the toilet giggling and beaming. There were to lines,” said Roberto, noting how happy Quiambao was when she discovered she was indeed pregnant. “We both giggled like little kids and hopped around, thanking Jesus for this miracle. I woke up Joshua and told him he was going to be a kuya.”
“I’m also pregnant. Pregnant with hope for the future, pregnant with gratefulness to God, and pregnant with love for the baby that’s growing in my beautiful wife’s tummy,” noted Roberto. “Keep the faith and keep on hoping and praying. God’s timing is always perfect.” JB
