Maine Mendoza in awe of Anne Curtis: ‘Anne galing mo!’
Anne Curtis held her latest concert — supposedly her last, so she says — “AnneKulit: Promise, Last Na ‘To!” Saturday, Aug. 18 to mark 21 years in the industry.
Though Curtis is self-aware of the limits of her singing capabilities, it hasn’t stopped her from putting on a quality show that has entertained crowds at the Big Dome.
Maine Mendoza was among those who filled the Araneta Coliseum to watch the actress perform her third concert in fashionable outfits, and with a slew of guest stars that included Regine Velasquez and Sarah Geronimo.
The Kapuso star took to Instagram to shower praises on Curtis, with whom she snapped a picture after.

“And can I just say.. sobrang cute mo po (You are so cute). Anne kulit mo (so playful); Anne adorable!” she added. “I am just so glad to be able to witness how great of a performer you are. Tonight was filled with lovely songs and lit live performances. Anne galing mo (You are so great)!”
Mendoza shared pictures of Curtis braving heights, singing while suspended in the air. She also posted a snap with the actress herself, simply captioning it with a red heart emoji.
“Awww thank you for the kind words and for coming to my concert Maine,” replied Curtis. “Big hug!”
Interestingly, Curtis began her showbiz career in GMA before breaking into greater stardom at ABS-CBN. Mendoza, on the other hand, tried to make it into the ABS-CBN show “Pinoy Big Brother” but found her break in the GMA noontime variety show “Eat Bulaga!” JB
