Is a partnership brewing between Willie Revillame and Sara Duterte?
“Wowowin” host Willie Revillame appeared to be happy meeting Davao mayor and presidential daughter Sara Duterte, as seen in a Facebook video uploaded by the late afternoon show’s executive producer Adrian Gret yesterday, Aug. 1.
In the video, Revillame is seen talking to someone on his phone at 8:30 a.m. Meanwhile, Duterte is surrounded by cameras and her entourage.
Moments later, the two finally met and shook hands at the executive lounge of the Quezon City Hall. Both Revillame and Duterte also appeared to have shared some laughs before getting down to business.
Both then sat down to talk, but it is unsure as of the moment what the topic of their discussion was. In the last sequence, they once again shared a handshake and had their photos taken.
Although no dialogue was heard throughout the video, three clues are seen. First, after the photo session, the scene transitions to the Philippine flag, and the words “Pag-ibig, pagmamahal, pagmamalasakit sa bawat Pilipino” (Love and compassion for every Filipino) are seen.

This sparked rumors that the television host-businessman may be planning to enter politics in the 2019 mid-term elections.
Meanwhile, Duterte is not spared from being the subject of speculations as well, particularly about running for a Senate seat. However, she has reiterated several times that she has no plans of seeking a higher position in government. JB
