Man crashes Gerald Anderson’s QC home, steals shoes and t-shirts

Police arrested a 22-year-old man who gatecrashed Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson’s home in Quezon City early morning Thursday and stole t-shirts and a pair of shoes.

Chief Insp. Sandie Caparroso, of the Quezon City Police District, identified the suspect as Mark Joseph Capalla, who introduced himself as a construction worker.

Preliminary investigation showed that Capalla was initally wandering near the celebrity’s home and eventually sneaked in. The suspect left the house along with the pair of shoes and t-shirts reportedlty owned by Anderson’s staff. The items were later recovered by police upon Capalla’s arrest.

Capalla, reportedly a son of another staff of Anderson, is now detained at the QCPD Station 6 in Batasan Hills.

Meanwhile, Star Magic, the actor’s management, assured that Anderson and his family are safe and unharmed in the incident.   /kga
