To show his affection, Macky Mathay thought it best to write a dedication for his girlfriend Sunshine Cruz, who turned 41 yesterday, July 18.
“Every time I pray I never forget to thank Him for blessing my life with someone like you,” Mathay said of Cruz on his Instagram page a day ago, where he posted a photo of him planting a kiss on her cheek.”I couldn’t and know in my heart and mind that I wouldn’t ask for more!”
He added that his kids, two sons and a daughter with ex-wife Camille Fariñas, are also blessed to have Cruz “who takes really good care of them as if they were your own.”
He also shared the story of how “Tita Alma,” Cruz’s mom, named the actress as “Sunshine”: because she was born on a rainy and stormy day. Mathay added: “I couldn’t agree more because having you in my life is like having my own personal dose of sunlight, rain or shine.”
Mathay promised to always appreciate her and do everything to make sure she is always happy.
Two days before her special day, Mathay already surprised Cruz in bed with a sweet-looking treat. He wrote on a post: “I have gone through so much already in life and I wouldn’t mind going through them over and over again if only just to find you.”
Cruz also celebrated her birthday with her daughters Angelina, Samantha and Francheska, as well as other family members and friends. She thanked them for making her day extra special. JB
