WATCH: Bela Padilla tries to mend JC Santos’ broken heart in ‘The Day After Valentine’s’

Will you let someone mend your broken heart?

Bela Padilla will try her best for JC Santos to move on from a breakup in “The Day After Valentine’s,” as seen in its official trailer released Thursday.

In the movie, Padilla plays Lani, described as a confident woman who seems to have all of life’s answers. She then encounters Kai, portrayed by Santos, who cannot get his life together after breaking up with his girlfriend.

The two then hang out on Valentine’s Day and they observe the lovers who celebrate the special day. Will Kai be able to find the answers he is looking for in Lani to finally be able to move on with his life?

Padilla and Santos reunite with director Jason Paul Laxamana, whom they first worked with in the 2017 movie “100 Tula Para Lay Stella”. The new flick will be released under Viva Entertainment.

Catch how Kai and Lani’s story will unfold as “The Day After Valentine’s” hits theaters Aug. 15, as part of the lineup for the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2018.  /ra
