Before wedding bells ring, singer Christian Bautista and fiancée Kat Ramnani decided to have a prenuptial shoot. They chose this opportunity to showcase their fashion sense.
The couple were privileged to have the new National Museum of Natural History in Manila as the site of their shoot. They got good friend and photographer Pat Dy to take their photos, which he posted on Instagram Thursday.
Bautista and Ramnani both looked good in head-to-toe black while staring into each other’s eyes. Dy said this was his favorite photo of the couple.
The bride-to-be was chic on her own, wearing a white polo shirt and black skirt, and had a sultry look. Bautista’s shadow could be seen in the background.
Likewise, Bautista—looking dapper in a tuxedo—also had the same idea for the photo as Ramnani’s. The photographer revealed: “New ideas came flowing as soon as we started shooting.” He also thanked the two for their “complete trust.”
Ramnani also shared some of Dy’s shots on her own account. In one photo, she and Bautista lauded Pinoy pride by wearing the Philippines’ national costumes—the Baro’t Saya and Barong Tagalog. She captioned the photo: “Our heritage is a pivotal part of our identity, it governs many of our morals, values – and brings us so much pride to be Filipino.”
And in another shot where she and Bautista run carefree outside the museum, she bared the reason why they chose the building as the site of their shoot: “The National Museum of Natural History represents many principles we find important to us; we couldn’t think of a more perfect and powerful place to help us share parts about our story.”
Bautista proposed to Ramnani, a manager at a telecommunications company, back in October 2017 during a trip to Venice, Italy. They are set to wed later this year or early 2019. /ra
