K-pop group iKON flies to Manila for first world tour
iKON has announced its first official world tour this morning, July 2 – and the PH iKONIC (iKON’s fandom name) community is in for a treat because the Philippines is included in the official list of countries iKON will visit.
YG Entertainment, the group’s agency, took to its official blog to announce the group’s first world tour entitled “iKON: 2018 CONTINUE Tour”.
The seven-member boy group will kickstart the world tour in Seoul, at the Gymnastic Arena in Olympic Park on Aug. 18. There are still no official dates for the other cities they will visit for their tour.
Apart from Seoul and Manila, iKON will be flying to Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta and Taiwan.
iKON was first introduced as “Team B” in the reality survival show “WIN: WHO IS NEXT”. They appeared on another reality survival show “Mix & Match” where they completed their official member line up: B.I, Bobby, Jinhwan, Ju-ne, Yunhyeong, Donghyuk and Chanwoo.
