Search for TV scripts is on

Hooq, the largest video-on-demand service in Southeast Asia, is launching anew the Hooq Filmmakers Guild search for five scripts, to be produced into pilot episodes.

Two judges from the Philippines complete the panel this year, actress Agot Isidro and filmmaker Jun Robles Lana.


Chosen scripts from participating countries (Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, India, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia and Cambodia) will be given $30,000 each, to produce a pilot episode for Hooq.

‘Art 2 Art’ in July

Margie Moran-Floirendo bares plans as the newly appointed chair of the Cultural Center of the Philippines in today’s episode of the art advocacy program, “Art 2 Art.”

Hosted by Lisa Macuja, “Art 2 Art” airs Sundays, 3:30 p.m., on radio via dzRH and on cable via RHTV.

Other guests are visual artist-classical singer Jack Salud (July 8) and actress Iana Bernardez (July 15).
