LOOK: Dimples Romana’s great stash of medals from grade, high school days
Dimples Romana recalled her competitive grade school and high school days from an old stash of medals. She also noted how they inspired her to raise her own children properly.
The actress recalled how she had been fortunate to have all the guidance she could ever need while growing up. She wrote, “These stand for not only how blessed I have been with teachers who were very patient with me when I was in elementary and high school but also the great influence my parents had on me as a child.”
She also noted how all the competitions she joined for editorial writing and oratorical speech and declamation, and the skills she learned from them contributed to her current work as a host and actress.
Moreover, Romana found greater inspiration to guide her two children, Callie Ahmee and Alonzo Ahmee, in a similar fashion to help them reach their potential. “Seeing all these moves me to encourage my own children to be the best they can be,” wrote Romana.
Romana currently stars as the babaylan Gloria in the television fantasy series “Bagani.” /ra
