Dr. Pimple Popper to get 6-episode show on skin conditions

Dr. Pimple Popper will be getting a six-episode mini-series that focuses on addressing various dermatological conditions.

Dermatologist Dr. Sandra Lee, famous on Instagram as Dr. Pimple Popper, will be getting her own mini-series courtesy of American TV network TLC. The move came about as a result of a successful one-hour special that aired earlier in January, according to a statement.

TLC also created the TLC GO Original series “Dr. Pimple Popper: This is Zit” as a quick follow-up to the one-hour special.

FEATURED STORIES

The new series will premiere on July 11 with six one-hour-long episodes. The show will tackle a variety of dermatological conditions from severe elephant-like skin to cysts and “unicorn” lumps.

Lee will also talk more in-depth about the conditions and how the procedures to solve them will help patients lead better daily lives.
