Traits of celebs’ hardworking dads worth emulating
What traits does your father have that’s worth emulating? The answers from these celebrities:
Usually, it’s the parents who say this about their children, but I’m super proud of my father (Anthony Pangilinan)—but, he knows this already. No matter what, he’ll do anything to be there for us, to support us. I want to tell him that I’m working hard for us, and that I love him so much.
My father still does his best to provide for us and make us feel comfortable. He always looks out for us and makes sure we’re OK.
He has always been supportive of my career and still watches my shows. He laid out a good foundation for his children and taught us to work hard, love family and love God.
Things weren’t perfect between us—nothing’s perfect in life, anyway—but I remain very grateful to him. Slowly, things are getting better. To my father, I learned a lot from you and recognize all your hard work.

My father isn’t the type who celebrates such occasions. But it would be nice to give him something that would make him feel special. He’s like an older kuya who’s very protective of me; he’s the type who would do anything for his family. He always reminds me to be grateful and keep my feet on the ground; to thank those who stayed by my side every step of the way.
