Pia Wurtzbach was downhearted when boyfriend Marlon Stockinger forbade her to watch an upcoming Manila concert of the Korean boy group Super Junior.
An Instagram Stories by Wurtzbach, uploaded on June 4, showed Stockinger shaking his head while Wurtzbach pleaded with him to allow her to watch the show.
Wurtzbach happens to be a big Super Junior fan. She particularly idolized member Choi Siwon, according to her past tweets. She even received a congratulatory tweet from Siwon when Wurtzbach won the Miss Universe crown in 2015.
The Instagram Stories video eventually made its way to Twitter via user @1004ica. It surprised and amused fans.

Fellow ELFs, the name of Super Junior’s fangroup, pitched in to help convince Stockinger to allow Wurtzbach to watch the performance. User Twitter @lutricia said “Pia Unnie” needs to be with her fellow fans for the show. “Unnie” is the Korean honorific used for older girls; it’s similar to “ate” in Tagalog.
