Megastar Sharon Cuneta’s much-awaited Bacolod concert was a sold-out success, but that’s hardly surprising. Last Friday, June 1, Cuneta held her show in Bacolod City where she was joined by Martin Nievera and balladeer Basil Valdez as her special guests. Cuneta had only just gone through a second surgery to remove her lipoma just days before, but she was determined as ever to fly to the city and sing to her fans.

Her husband, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, was her number one fan that night, taking to his Instagram account on the day of the concert to share photo collages of Cuneta performing on stage. In one particular collage, Cuneta was seen singing on stage in two different outfits; one a teal number and the other a muted drapey black outfit.

“Sharon in Bacolod!” Pangilinan wrote in excitement. “Maayong gabi (Good evening) Bacolod! Sold out show here!”

The funny antics of the two weren’t missed by their fans, as she teased her husband by showing a snap of his phone’s camera roll full of pictures of her during the concert.

Had to take this picture of Kikyoo’s phone. Kasi sabi ko during the concert, utang na loob ko pa na wallpaper ako ng asawa ko sa phone niya pero lahat ng pics sa phone niya lahat ng litsugas at gulay niya sa farm!” divulged Cuneta last June 1. “Hahahaha! Biglang nagpasikat sa akin pinakita phone niya puro pictures ko! Naaaaks! Yor zo kyut Kikyoo! I laaaab yoo (nakalusot)!!! Hahaha!”

(Had to take this picture of Kikyoo’s phone. Because I told him during the concert, it’s as if I owe him that I’m his phone’s wallpaper, because all the photos in his phone are that of his vegetables from the farm. [Laughs] Then he showed off to me to prove that his phone pictures are pictures of me! Wow! You’re so cute, Kikyoo! I love you (you got away)! [Laughs])

In another post, Cuneta shared a stolen shot of Pangilinan during her concert, crouching low on his back just to get the perfect angle of his wife. It seems the secret is definitely out: Kiko is a Sharonian!

“AHA! HULI KA!!! CONFIRMED!!! Ay KANFEERM pala!!! SHARONIAN SI KIKO!!! Sabi ko na nga ba. Ha ha ha… @kikopangilinan.”

(Aha! Gotcha! Confirmed! Kiko is a Sharonian. I knew it. [Laughs])

His fellow Sharonians could expect more of sweet Pangilinan’s gestures in the next few months, as this concert was just one out of the many that Cuneta is set to hold this year. Her next concert for her 40th Mega Philippine Tour is slated for July 14 at Tagbilaran City, Bohol, leaving Pangilinan more than a month to practice his photography skills even more. JB
