Atom Araullo-starrer ‘Citizen Jake’ now in cinemas

Mike De Leon’s comeback masterpiece “Citizen Jake” is now commercially released.

The Atom Araullo-starrer is being shown in select cinemas nationwide, including SM Cinemas, Starmall and Vista Cinemas, and Ayala Cinemas.

“Citizen Jake” is a crime drama about the life of Filipino journalist Jake Herrera, a man born to privilege yet struggling with the contradictions and demands of his dysfunctional family.

The movie is Araullo’s acting debut and he has so far received praises for what many say was “a job well done.”

The former journalist-turned-actor recently moved to GMA network from ABS-CBN and is currently doing documentaries. He also hosted the crowd-sourced travel show “Adventure Your Way” on AXN. /ee
