Iconic actress Jolina Magdangal is expecting the arrival of her second baby in just a few days. Giving birth the second time around may be less nerve-wracking than the first, as the basics have been covered. For Magdangal, however, what’s making her nervous is not her nearing labor, but her firstborn Pele.

Magdangal took to her Instagram on May 16 to express to her 800,000-strong followers her fears and sentiments. She first addressed her 4-year old son Pele with musician husband Mark Escueta of Rivermaya, writing, “Anak, ilang araw nalang, hindi lang ikaw ang aalagaan namin ni Papa mo.

Magdangal also assured that their family would be happier now that Pele would have a playmate.

In her heartfelt note, Magdangal promised her little boy that their love for him would always remain no matter what, even if he would have a baby sister now in the picture. I love you Pele. Love, Mama.”
