Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder team up as the most unlikely couple in their latest movie.
In “Destination Wedding”, Reeves and Ryder play Frank and Lindsay, two socially-awkward people who meet at the airport. It turns out they will be attending the same wedding.
Along the way, the two realize they have a lot in common: they hate the bride, the groom, the wedding and each other. Ryder asks Reeves if he believes that there is someone for anyone. His reply? “Close. I believe that there is nobody for anyone.”
This movie serves as their reunion since the 1992 gothic horror classic “Dracula”. They were joined by Gary Oldman and Anthony Hopkins in the said film.
“Destination Wedding” is directed by Victor Levin. Catch how Reeves and Ryder’s story unfolds as the movie hits United States theaters on Aug. 24. Release date for other countries is yet to be announced. JB
