KIM CHIU and Xian Lim: Not in a relationship

Talk is running wild in a not-so-sleepy suburban subdivision. Residents are complaining because of delays in the construction work on the streets.

A mole says diggings were abandoned in mid-stream (for months now) because of Private Contractor’s mishandling of funds. In short, she may have run away with the cash.

What’s the show biz connection? PC is married to Drama Actor, who went to school and grew up in the area.

FEATURED STORIES

Should the residents run to DA for help?

Sex maniac

Publicly, Controversial Starlet and Scandalous Star are extra chummy.

Turns out, CS is wary of SS. CS has noticed that SS is way too touchy-feely with her boyfriend, Hunky Actor.

PIOLO Pascual: Marriage at 40

In short, CS got jealous because SS couldn’t keep her “filthy hands” off HA. “It’s obvious SS wants to sleep with HA,” CS complained to friends.

Privately, CS has even called SS a “sex maniac”—not the first time for the label to be pinned on SS.

Speak no evil

An insider insisted that Hesitant Rumormonger didn’t resign from a project, but was sacked.

HR supposedly refused to share inside stories about coworkers, explained the source.

Spy added: “How could HR be effective in a chismis show while being too careful because of possible offers from the networks?”

NO DEATH threats for Lovi Poe

In any case, HR’s performance on the project was a clear case of naked ambition from the start.

Manufactured news

Local Company has been disseminating wrong information about a Big Project.

Is the intention to mislead fans and media? But LC has been using the press in the rather clumsy misinformation campaign.

Latest victim is Professional Actor. A sensational quote was attributed to PA in a news account. Apparently, PA never uttered those words. Messy, messy.

‘Unity Run’ this Sunday

UHF television station UNTV announced details of “Kahit Isang Araw Lang: Unity Run” which kicks off on January 22 simultaneously in seven cities nationwide: SM Mall of Asia, Pasay; Cebu Business Park; Bacolod Panaad Stadium; Tacloban City Hall; SM City Davao; Butuan Sports Complex; and Mendoza Park, Puerto Princesa.

Proceeds of the benefit fun run will go to the construction of computer classrooms for public schools all over the Philippines, in partnership with the Department of Education’s Adopt-a-School program. Log on to untvweb.com.

MAJA Salvador: Very much in love

For those who missed last weekend’s TV gabfests (And why we are moved, if we are moved):

Piolo Pascual, asked when he plans to get married: “When I was 20, sabi ko at 25 pwede na akong magpakasal. Noong mag-25 ako, sabi ko 30 pwede na. Noong mag-30 ako, mga 35. So ngayon, baka mga 40 pwede na! I’m excited to start a family. It will come in God’s perfect time.” (That’s excited?)

Maja Salvador, asked if boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli is threatened by her admirers: “Kampante naman si kuya sa pagmamahal ko sa kanya. Kulang pa ba? Todo-todo na kasi!” (Too much information—yes or no na lang.)

Kim Chiu, asked if she’s in a romantic relationship with Xian Lim: “We’re good friends. Nae-enjoy ko siyang kasama kasi tawa ka lang nang tawa… Siyempre kinikilig nang konti pero doon muna… Dapat dahan-dahan lang para sigurado ka kung ano nararamdaman mo.” (This tiresome line should be outlawed.)

Coco Martin, asked why he thinks he’s loved by the masses: “Siguro dahil pinapakita ko kung ano ako. ’Yung pagiging sincere ko sa tao at katrabaho ko. Sa pag-arte lumalabas ’yun. Ayokong mag-pretend…” (Good answer.)

Kris Bernal on meeting Jolo Revilla’s family for the first time: “Na-touch ako … pero siyempre nung una hiyang-hiya ako. Bago nga ako pumasok [ng bahay], naninigas ako. Sabi ko, ‘Ano’ng gagawin ko? Ano’ng sasabihin ko?’” (Ano ba yan? Did you elope?)

Marian Rivera on Dingdong Dantes’ reaction to her new, shorter haircut: “Sobrang happy siya. Sabi niya, ‘Ay, para kang bagong girlfriend!’” (Happy lang, hindi sobra.)

Lovi Poe on rumors that she’s been receiving death threats saying, “Isang bala ka lang”: “Ang line namang ’yun eh nanggaling sa tatay ko! ’Di ako natatakot! Pero wala. There’s no such thing.” (Eh, isang marriage contract ka lang?)

Pauleen Luna, asked why she almost deactivated her Twitter account: “It came to a point na parang it gets to me na —’yung mga comments whether good or bad. And I find myself in a bad mood because of comments na nababasa ko.” (Almost lang—she didn’t.)
