Actor and singer Marlo Martel did a twist on the “Bboom Bboom” K-pop dance challenge by doing an English cover song instead.
Made popular by K-pop girl group Momoland, the “Bboom Bboom” dance challenge calls on people to imitate the dance choreography for Momoland’s latest single.
Martel admitted to having no dancing skills at all. Instead, he made the most of his strength and sang the K-pop song in acoustic with English lyrics. He uploaded the cover video on his YouTube channel yesterday. He also took a little liberty with the translation to better fit the song’s melody.
Other Filipino celebrities have taken up the “Bboom Bboom” dance challenge and some uploaded their own videos as shown in this compilation by YouTube channel EntervRexWorld Filipino All Star Files. They include Awra Briguela, Vice Ganda, Jaki Gonzaga, Ella Cruz, Xander Ford, Taki Sato and Kyline.
