GMA Network actress Yasmien Kurdi sure knew the perfect gift for her husband Rey Soldevilla Jr.’s birthday.
In an Instagram video Kurdi shared yesterday, May 14, to her 400,000-strong followers, she and her daughter could be seen surprising their main man with a brand new red Honda Civic RS in the garage.
According to AutoDeal, a brand new 2018 Honda Civi RS costs no less than P1.5 million.
In the video, Soldevilla could be seen walking towards their attached garage and opening it. Kurdi and daughter Ayesha, however, was already waiting for him inside the garage with the car and a cake.
“Surprise, happy birthday!” Ayesha could be heard greeting her father while Kurdi started to sing him “Happy Birthday”. Soldevilla then gave his girls kisses.
Meanwhile, Kurdi had some sweet words for her husband. “I am so grateful I married a man as wonderful as you,” wrote Kurdi last May 14. “Ang swerte ko kasi ang pogi mo, mabait, generous at super humble na tao (I am lucky because you are handsome, kind, generous and a super humble human being). I hope you never change in life, because you are absolutely perfect the way you are. I Love You so much! Happy Birthday Pangga (love).”
Kurdi and Soldevilla got married back in 2012 in a low-key wedding. Born to a Muslim father and an Iglesia Ni Cristo mother, Kurdi has since converted from her religion so she could be with Soldevilla. It is known that the Iglesia Ni Cristo forbids members to marry or be in a relationship with anyone who is not a member of the church. JB
