Nicki Minaj took to the red carpet at the Met Gala this week to announce details of her upcoming album.
In an interview she gave to E! and tweeted by Complex, Minaj revealed that the album will be called “Queen” and its due date is set for June 15.

That reveal came shortly after Minaj dropped the music videos for two of the album’s tracks: “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li”.
So far, those are the only two tracks known to be included on “Queen”, which follows on from Minaj’s 2014 album “The Pinkprint”. While the rapper has not been far from the spotlight since that album’s release, it has mostly been due to a string of high-profile collaborations with Katy Perry, Drake, Lil Wayne, Migos and Gucci Mane, among other artists.
Expect news, teases and sneak peeks as the release of “Queen” nears. JB
