Comedian Michael V’s excitement for the “Avengers: Infinity War” just couldn’t be missed.

Earlier this month, Michael V took to his Instagram page to share to his fans that he was one of the people who were invited to the press conference of the “Avengers: Infinity War” in Singapore.

Michael V could barely keep his excitement to himself, as he showed off his 15-minute portraits of the “Avengers” superheroes that he planned to give to the actors during his interviews. One of them was “Iron Man” Robert Downey Jr., who Michael V was most thrilled for.

He eventually met Downey Jr. Last April 16, the comedian’s screengrabs from Downey Jr.’s Instagram Stories showed the two of them finally being together. It seems, too, that Michael V had caught the eye of Downey Jr, as the Hollywood actor took to his own Instagram page yesterday to share pictures from the press event.

Among the photos Downey Jr. shared was a group photo with Michael V doing Iron Man’s power pose.

Here, there and everywhere I wanna thank you from the bottom of my #arcreactor … #tonyhasaheart#TeamStark #represents @marvelstudios #everydayeverynighteverywhere…” Downey Jr. wrote on his post.

Of course, Michael V didn’t miss this post by Downey Jr., taking to his own page to gush about it. “Nasa carousel post ako ni @robertdowneyjr ! #AvengersPH.” (I’m in the carousel post of Robert Downey Jr.)

“Avengers: Infinity Wars” first hit Philippine theaters yesterday, April 25, but fans of the “Avengers” have already been clamoring for it long before its worldwide release.

And it appears, too, that the great hype that surrounded it wasn’t just a smokescreen. Michael V himself posted a before-and-after reaction picture of him on Instagram yesterday; his “before” face showing a happy and smiley look, and the “after” face having his hand to his mouth and his expression looking forlorn.

“The hype is real. Fanboy or not, just go and watch it,” Bitoy the fanboy wrote. JB
