Queen of All Media Kris Aquino flew to Japan last week with her sons Josh and Bimby, with her Kris Cojuangco Aquino Productions (KCAP) team tagging along.
They were definitely not a small group, and such was evident in the loads of luggage they had in tow, as shown in one of her Instagram videos shared yesterday, April 16. Their trip comes right on time for Bimby’s birthday on April 19, as he turns 11 years old. This Japan trip is also her KCAP team’s first endorsement shoot abroad.
Since last week, the group has been enjoying the marvels the Land of the Rising Sun — Aquino’s favorite country to visit — had to offer, first from the port city of Osaka and then to bustling Tokyo via the Shinkansen bullet train.
In one video she uploaded three days ago, April 14, Aquino expressed that she feels privileged after having toured the Asvel factory, a Japanese company that specializes in manufacturing full-ranging housewares. It was made known that Aquino and her KCAP team had their milestone shoot there.
“What a privilege to have toured the factory of a Japanese full range houseware & food storage manufacturer from a true [Japan] lover like me!” Aquino gushed on Instagram. “Another TEAM KCAP milestone to shoot in MIE Prefecture (the midpoint between Osaka & Nagoya…”
Of course, Aquino did not miss out on having a go at one of the vending machines around. Vending machines in Japan are pretty much ubiquitous and, apart from your usual snacks and energy drinks, offer sundries such as umbrellas, keychains, disposable underwear, complete meals, clothes, batteries, neckties, you name it. It’s almost like a sari-sari store, minus the tindera.
Aquino, too, made sure she and her boys had their picture taken under the iconic cherry blossoms in the Mid Prefecture within the Kansai region.
She also couldn’t help but sample all the snacks and candies the country had to offer, as she shared the various kinds she got in her favorite color: pink.
What can we say? It’s definitely a trip worth living vicariously from. JB
