Gerald Anderson learns from Kim Chiu: ‘Never forget where you came from’
Gerald Anderson reveals an important life lesson he learned from actress and ex-girlfriend Kim Chiu.
Anderson solemnly recalled a lesson he picked up from his time with Chiu in an interview on the evening talkshow “Tonight with Boy Abunda”.
The actor stated, “Siguro Tito Boy just never forget where you came from, kung pano ka nagsimula before all these blessings and opportunities na dumating.”
(I suppose, Tito Boy, just never forget where you came from. How you started, before all these blessings and opportunities arrived.)
Anderson and Chiu first worked together in 2006 after their stint for the first season of “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition”. Chiu went home as the Big Winner while Anderson placed third.

They also worked together on a number of hit television series such as “Tayong Dalawa” and “Sana Maulit Muli”. However their relationship was cut short in 2010 when they separated amidst a controversy, citing Anderson as having cheated on Chiu.

This is in light of reports stating that the two may have broken up, after Alonzo had unfollowed Anderson and Pia Wurtzbach’s Instagram accounts.
