For many, Lenten season is the time of the year to re-evaluate their lives. “Am I still on the right track?”, “How am I going to be a better person?”, “What are the wrong things I did early this year and how will I correct them?” — these are just some of the questions people ask themselves amidst the pause of the usually busy city, or the slowing down of their hometowns. There are also a lot of things to do to help make the Holy Week meaningful; a trip, reading a book, curating a playlist, reconnecting with old friends, or maybe just staying at home with family.

Plot: What is the difference between a “grown-up” and an “elderly”? Most youths called those who were in the generation above them “elderly”. In addition, view the group with negative connotations. This is understandable because most dramas depict the elderly as those who are stubborn, dislike changes and patronize those younger than them. However, this drama plans to share the stories of “grown-ups,” not the elderly. It hopes to create a bond between the youth and the grown-ups.

Plot: Go Eun Sung, whose mother died of illness, lives with her father and younger brother. After the remarriage of her father, Eun Sung has another younger sister. Baek Sung Hee, her stepmother, is a cunning and shrewd woman, constantly racking her brains on acquiring the property of her father while ostensibly loving and caring about Eun Sung and her younger brother. In a flash, misfortune falls on her when her father died and his company goes through the crisis of bankruptcy. However, Eun Sung makes a difference in her own life by chance. She gets a legacy from Jang Sook Ja, grandmother of Sun Woo Hwan, a rich spoiled brat and playboy.
The Scandal
Recommended for people who want a series about a father-son relationship.
Plot: This story revolves around two families which are different in so many ways, and yet end up being entangled in a feud. It all started when detective Ha Myeong Geun lost his son in a collapsing building, actually caused by faulty construction. Determined to seek justice for his son’s death and the president’s dismissive attitude towards his loss, the detective took matters into his own hands and kidnaps the president’s son. After several years, he feels that he needs to make things right and tries to return the kidnapped boy back to his rightful parents. However, he finds out that the boy’s family has found their son. Years passed and he soon discovers that the past that he tried to escape from comes haunting him back when secrets are revealed. With his health problem at hand, he also needs to make things right as history repeats itself and innocent lives are taken by the ones in power.

Plot: A dead body is found and three suspects are investigated. Who killed that person for what reason? Between different statements, the truth is slowly revealed. Everyone wants to own more and live a better life than others. The passion for success starts with such a pure heart. However, that goal is something that can never be satisfied. People do whatever it takes to protect what they have and take more from others. This program shows how people, who aim only to live better than others, act to achieve their goals.

Recommended for people who want a light but meaningful tale about how two people discovered the importance of marriage.
Plot: Meet Ji Ho, an assistant writer who shares her apartment with her brother. When her brother knocks his girlfriend up, she is forced to move out. She thinks that living life as a snail in her next life wouldn’t be so bad since snails don’t get kicked out of their houses. Then there’s Se Hee, a cat lover who lacks social skills. Se Hee is looking for a new housemate who can pay rent monthly. In order to fulfill one’s own needs, the two become cohabitants.
The Emperor: Owner of the Mask
Recommended for people who want to ignite their sense of nationalism.
Plot: There are several springs that do not dry up even during the driest seasons. Each of these springs is completely controlled by individuals. Crown Prince Yi Sun and these individuals engage in a “battle of water.” This drama questions what the most valuable matter in life is and argues that there are things that even money cannot control. Furthermore, Sun’s love story also encourages the viewers to overcome their fear of getting hurt and to take a step towards love. Neither great revolutions nor mighty heroes are needed to make a change in this world. All you need is to take one step at a time.

Plot: Kang Ma Ru, an excellent medical student, shoulders the blame for his lover Han Jae Hee. After being released from prison, he finds out that Jae Hee is married to a rich man, President Seo. Feeling betrayed, Ma Ru seeks revenge on Jae Hee and uses President Seo’s daughter, Seo Eun Gi. In the midst of carrying out his revenge, he finds himself falling in love with Eun Gi. JB
