The brother of troubled actor Baron Geisler, who is currently detained in a police station in Angeles city, has spoken about the incident wherein he claimed that he was battered by family members over financial issues.
Geisler had claimed that his brother-in-law, Michael Robinstone Morales, barged into his home and gotten into a fight. The actor also implicated his sister Grace and sister-in-law Ana Maria Geisler-Pineda.

In reply to his claims, Morales said that Geisler was “totally drunk” and hurt the feelings of his daughter. Geisler also allegedly vandalized their home, prompting him to fight back.

Geisler’s younger brother Donnie who is a taekwondo instructor, admitted that the past few days were difficult for his family. He also apologized for Geisler’s behavior in a Facebook post hours ago.
Defending Morales’ actions, Donnie said he “did what he had to do to protect his family.” He added, “Mike loves and takes care of Baron like a brother ever since he met my sister Grace.”
Donnie also opened up on how Morales and his family have been struggling with Geisler. He narrated that when their mother succumbed to cancer in January 2017, the actor took over her house, making him and Morales neighbors.
The instructor added that their family “has been experiencing difficulties, pain and distress on his (Geisler’s) behavior and alcohol problem for many years now.”

Since their mother’s passing, Donnie said the actor “has been very depressed and adjusting has been hard for him [which] made the situation excruciating for everyone especially when he’s intoxicated.” Donnie admitted that at one point, he bailed the problematic actor out of jail.
While she was still alive, Geisler’s mother took effort to get her son through rehabilitation and meetings with psychologists. But according to the instructor, these were not successful as the actor “takes the treatment lightly.”
Still, Donnie said his family is there for Geisler. “Don’t get me wrong, but we the family love Baron and this has been the sad reality of what our family has been experiencing and it is hard to make anyone comprehend and I wouldn’t want anybody else to experience it.”
“We’re hoping this time would be a good opportunity to get him the help he really needs and we’re hoping he would surrender and accept that he has a serious problem and also we want what’s best for him,” Donnie said. “Rest assured that the family is doing its best to find the best solution to resolve the matter privately.”
On Tuesday, police reported that Geisler was arrested and charged for threatening to kill Morales with a kitchen knife. He is currently detained at Police Station 3 in Angeles City, Pampanga. /ra
