False alarm for Spice Girls fans

/ 12:15 AM February 20, 2018

When Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton and Melanie Chisholm had a little get-together at Geri Halliwell’s home early this month, rumors promptly swirled: Are the Spice Girls reuniting?

Fans of the iconic ’90s pop girl group got even more pumped up when TMZ recently reported that the Spice Girls are about to embark on a concert tour, starting in the UK, before going to the United States.

But in an interview with British Vogue, Victoria said that while it’s always great to connect with her former bandmates, there’s no truth to the speculations. “I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour,” she said.

“We had such a fun lunch,” she added. “I still speak to them all individually, [and] for us all to get together was really lovely.”—ALLAN POLICARPIO
