Queen and Adam Lambert have announced plans to follow up their recent 25-date European tour with additional concerts in June and July, with five shows announced so far.
Details of the first five European and United Kingdom summer shows are as follows, with additional concerts to be announced for Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands and Belgium:
June
13 – Cologne, Germany, Lanxess Arena
19 – Berlin, Germany, Mercedes Benz Arena
20 – Hamburg, Germany, Barclaycard Arena
25 – Milan, Italy, Forum
July
2 – London, 02 Arena
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, Feb. 9 for the London O2 Arena, where the band played two sold-out shows at the end of their November to December 2017 tour of the U.K. and Europe.
The summer shows will feature the group’s new stage production, conceived around the 40th anniversary of Queen’s “News of the World” album.
Queen + Adam Lambert first shared the stage in 2009, launching a partnership that has seen the United States singer serve as the band’s lead singer in more than 130 shows around the world. Before the summer dates, they will play ten sold-out arena shows in Australia and New Zealand. JB
