A day after the release of a brief teaser at the Super Bowl 2018, a longer trailer of “Solo: A Star Wars Story” was streamed on the internet.
The new trailer offers a few more dialogue tidbits giving an idea of how Alden Ehrenreich portrays the younger version of Han Solo. We also see a younger Lando Calrisian, played by Donald Glover, getting in all sorts of trouble with Han.
Emilia Clarke stars as the new character Kira, who may be the love interest for this chapter of the famous smuggler’s life.
In previous Star Wars movies, it became a running joke to refer to the Millennium Falcon as a “piece of junk.” For “Solo,” the iconic Corellian YT freighter can be seen looking brand-new and seemingly fresh out of the factory hangar.
“Solo” appears to be focused on Han’s rise to fame in the galactic criminal underworld. It is a time when he has yet to clear the Kessel Run in under 12 parsecs and possibly before he owed something from just everyone he has done business with.
Catch “Solo: A Star Wars Story” in theaters starting May 25. /ra
