Still hurting? Angelica Panganiban hints that ex-BF’s current flame ‘ruined the relationship’
For Angelica Panganiban, there has definitely been pain from her previous relationship. But instead of reeling from it, she chose to allude to her former flame in a lighthearted manner.
In a Youtube video titled #AskAngelica posted last Friday, the “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes” star shared love advice to fans. Panganiban could not help but add some hugot into her answers.
On one instance, Donna Cariaga of the noontime show “It’s Showtime” said that the new girlfriend of her ex-boyfriend wants to meet her. She asked Panganiban what she would do if she were in this same situation.
Panganiban first reacted by laughing, then answered, “Hindi ko alam, baka masaktan ko ‘yun.” (I don’t know, I might hurt her.) She then dropped the bomb by saying, “Kasi unang-una, hindi naman ako pinalitan. Pinilit eh! Pinilit sirain ‘yung relasyon, kaya may galit.” (Because in the first place, I wasn’t replaced. She forced it! She forced to ruin the relationship, that’s why there’s anger.)
Cariaga then said that her ex-boyfriend appears to have violated the “three month rule” cited by the guy himself; she said that before they ended their relationship, her ex-boyfriend had already been with the new girlfriend.
Smiling, Panganiban asked, “Saan mo narinig ‘yung ‘three month rule’ na ‘yan?” (Where did you hear about that “three month rule”?). Not giving a definite answer, Cariaga muttered, “Si ano po eh… si ano,” to which the two laughed hysterically.

‘Instant family’
In another question, a viewer named Alexa asked for advice as her current boyfriend of two months supposedly got a girl pregnant. Upon reading the question from a cue card, Panganiban dropped the paper and looked jokingly stunned.
“Nasa sa’yo naman ‘yan kung ia-accept mo or ano… instant family ‘di ba? Kung gusto mo, ikaw na magpalaki dun sa bagets,” Panganiban replied. (It’s up to you if you will accept it or not or… instant family, right? If you want, you can take care of the kid.)
It was not made clear throughout the video who Panganiban was alluding to. She was in a relationship with Cruz for three and a half years. They broke up in January 2016. Cruz is now dating Ellen Adarna, with speculations that the two are getting married and expecting a baby. JB
